FUEL SURCHARGE

Basic Service – Bath, Brush, Blow Dry, Nail Trim, Ear Cleaning, and Anal Gland Expression (if needed), Mouthwash, After-Groom Spritz, Bandana or Bow (upon request).
Full Scissor cuts are not performed. Comb Cuts require a $10 add-on charge regardless of the dog’s size.
Add-on Services
Shed Reducer Treatment – $5-$20 additional add-on charge (Special deshed shampoo and FURminator brushing to remove undercoat) Sometimes this is a necessary service before clipping can be performed.
Nail Trim only – $15-$25 please call for details
De-matting service prices will be determined by the extent of the matting – minor mats that can be brushed out or easily shaved off usually do not increase the price; however, large, tight mats will have an additional charge on top of the normal grooming.
Mats can cause skin and health problems and need to be addressed, please do not allow your pet to live with mats, call me and let us talk about the well-being of your pet. De-matting is charged in 30-minute blocks at $20 per 30 min added on to the normal groom.
Feces Fee – there will be an additional fee of $10 for animals with feces matted into their fur for the extra cleaning of equipment that will be required.
**Arctic, Spitz and Shepherd Breeds – thick, dense undercoat may require a deshed treatment before normal service can be performed** DEFINITIONS
Bath and Brush includes blow dry, nail trimming, ear cleaning, Oral foam Rinse, sanitary and pad trim if desired, fruity cologne spray and a bow/bandana.
Brushing means brushing the dog with a comb, slicker brush, or FURminator for a maximum of 15 minutes for short-haired dogs and 25 minutes for long or wire-haired dogs. (Use of the FURminator without the use of the deshed shampoo does not cause the service to be called a deshed treatment.)
***Mats or thick undercoats are not included in the basic brushing charge.***
Clipping means the act of using clippers to shave the dog smooth or shorten its coat to the desired length.
***Mats or thick undercoats are not included in the basic clipping charge.*** Sometimes a full deshed treatment is necessary before clipping can be performed.
(Anal glands should not be manually expressed on a regular basis; it is an as-needed procedure. Extremely full or infected glands will be referred for Veterinarian treatment.)
Ear hair will be trimmed; we do not pluck. Please refer to Veterinarian care for plucking needs.

** All prices are based on regularly groomed dogs; every 6-8 weeks, matted and full-coated dogs will be charged accordingly. Full-body scissor cuts are not offered. Scissor trims on legs may be charged extra.
